Shopping apps are meant to ease the trouble of buying, not add to the clutter on your device. More than 85% of Australians use apps but that number drops drastically when looking at customer retention. About 30% of users will drop the app and the predominant factors are ease of use and simple designs. Although all retailers should have apps, the research indicates it’s pointless to rush a poor product onto devices. Business owners should also keep in mind that users are looking for something simpler than your website when buying on apps.
