The Minister of Employment and Workplace Relations for Australia’s National Press Club believes that workers are being exploited by large for-profit corporations. Furthermore, he believes that many companies, which are household names, feel no remorse or responsibility for exploiting workers and using their labor in order to attain huge profits. He recommends a new licensing scheme where business licenses would only to issued to companies that have a clean record of complying with rules and regulations. Future instances of misconduct could lead to licenses being revoked.
