It seems like the cost of gas everywhere is a marvelous thing. It changes at a near whim. Once, gas (or petrol) was extremely expensive in America — even making its way upwards of $5 a gallon. Now in most parts of the United States, gas is somewhere between $2 and $3 a gallon. This isn’t the case in Tasmania, where the cost of petrol is skyrocketing.
