A website for Australian small businesses has a feature on small businesses and IT programs. The feature refers to a survey of over five hundred small businesses in Australia and New Zealand. The group that did the survey reported that seventy per cent of small businesses did not have a customer relationship management program. This program uses data from it websites, chats, and social media to learn about a company’s target customers. The report found companies with CRM had 44% higher revenues than those who did not.
