Earlier this year, partially in response to fatalities at Dreamworld and Eagle Park, the government of Queensland, Australia, announced its “Best Practice Review of Workplace Health and Safety Queensland”. The government has now issued the final report of the review. A Discussion Paper was issued in April.
The report included recommendations on Enforceable Undertakings, insurance products, and other issues of interest to workplace safety professionals, although the introduction of Industrial Manslaughter laws has garnered the most media attention.
