About 8:30 Monday morning, a man wearing a red hoodie, carrying a black backpack, and a knife came into the store demanding money. Police say the man jumped behind the counter, and the man struggled with the clerk. Police say the man cut the clerk’s hands. She is expected to be okay. Police taped off not only the gas station but an area about 100 yards to the north they say they were looking for evidence connected to the crime.
