New 7-Eleven wage repayment allegation surfaces

7-Eleven franchisees are allegedly forcing employees to pay back part of their wages. A video obtained by ABC shows an employee in the managers office paying part of her wage because their bosses say that “they cannot afford to pay back the government rate.” 7-Eleven stated that the practice was theft and that they ensured that correct wages are paid so that this practice would not continue.
