National Family Business Day: celebrating the backbone of our economy

Australia designates one day a year to acknowledge the success of family businesses in their country. This day is on September 19th. Family businesses in Australia are responsible for a high percentage of Australia’s employment rate along with the success of their economy. They feel so strongly about these family business that they also induct a certain amount of family businesses into a hall of fame. This year, 7 businesses will be recognized in the ceremony. Australia also strongly urges their citizens to shop with these businesses to encourage their continued success.
