Kraft loses interest in Unilever takeover

Kraft was on the path to takeover Unilever but has now backed off from the plan. Unilever demonstrated a very strong resistance to the takeover. Chief Paul Polman stated that the buyout had no financial or strategic merit and that he was not interested into entering into any negotiations with Kraft. It is looking like Kraft will start looking elsewhere for a new deal.
