Get set for a new national minimum wage rate from 1 July

After reviewing the annual wages of the nations, the Fair Work Commission has decided to increase the minimum wage by about three percent. This will be a large change for both employees and employers to adjust to. This new regulation goes into effect on July first this year. The expected raise should be to earn at least $694.90 a week or $18.29 an hour. The agency says that they will also be releasing information on the way education workers are paid. They hope that this change gives the people a better lifestyle.
