Four questions for your EFTPOS provider

Four questions for your EFTPOS provider

May 21, 2017 By James L Leave a Comment

The following four questions should be asked of all EFTPOS and credit card providers. If there is tiered pricing on cards, what are the various tiers? Make sure you know any differences between cards such as Visa versus American Express. Are there any cancellation or termination fees? Make sure you completely understand these fees before signing any contract. What are the charges moving beyond the first year? Will there be any other fees I should know about? You do not want any hidden fees showing up without you knowing about them.

Key Takeaways:

  • Try your best not to get stuck in a contract you cant afford.
  • Some places may only guarantee charges for the first year.
  • Be sure to always know of what fees your provider charges.
