There is Vend sales data from thousands of retailers in Australia that shows how much Father’s Day spending went up last year. It jumped by eight percent compared to a regular Sunday. It increased by six percent the year before that. The spending has actually been less on Mother’s Day. According to Vend’s data, places where you can eat and drink will see the biggest increase on Sunday. Beauty stores and fashion stores all saw less business on Father’s Day.
