The role of BAS agents is expanding and some areas now overlap with other departments that were once outside the Commissioner of Taxation, the usual placement for BAS agents. Although some areas remain grey when it comes to the crossover of work from the Fair Trade Ombudsman’s office, HR Intermediary classification can be obtained legally. It’s important to stay updated on Fair Work policies as more changes take place and the BAS agents become available to provide more roles for clients.
