ACCC’s warning to franchisors about new unfair contracts law

Recently the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has given a warning to franchisors in particular about new unfair contracts laws. This particular new law that has come about offers greater protection to small businesses in particular. One of the concerns for this however is that the terms give franchisors unconstrained power to vary agreement or operations manuals among some others.
