Despite constantly being pressured to think creatively and think about the future, it should be considered to take a look at past events in order to help reassess the future. This idea can go for anything, especially in the discipline of occupational health and safety. It’s known that many OHS indicators have shown a plateau in performance and companies are trying to come up with new ways of increasing that performance. Despite all that, they aren’t thinking about how the past can be used to increase performance.
