Three online sellers of e-cigarettes have been penalized for breaking Australian Consumer Law for claiming their products did not contain cancer causing agents or other harmful chemicals. An Australian government commission tested the e-cigarettes and found that they did contain the dangerous substances. The directors and CEOs from three companies were fined thousands of dollars as a penalty for their false claims to consumers. The companies that were penalized were Joystick, Social-Lites, and Elusion Australia.
