Employers should do more to prevent suicides because many of them are work-related. People not only get money from work, but also a sense of purpose and social interaction. Work can make people suicidal for a number of reasons, but bullying is surely one that can be better addressed. Australia has a high rate of bullying in the workplace. There are five red flags that may be signs of someone who is suicidal. They might say goodbye in odd occasions. They might exhibit a sudden calm mood that seems to come out of nowhere. They might be more willing to take risks. Talking about others who have killed themselves is a sign. A lack of interest in activities that usually provide the person with pleasure is a strong indicator.
