Entrepreneur Naomi Simson has noticed that fewer women get investor funding than men. She is curious to discover if this is a gender bias or if there are other underlying reasons for this difference. While fewer female entrepreneurs get funding, their businesses are generally much more successful than those founded by men. As she works on the series Shark Tank this year, she plans to keep track of the numbers to see how men and women founders differ when asking for funding. It may just be that women are more likely to do it themselves than ask for money.
