CEO-speak and safety culture – losing track of what matters most

Since the BP deepwater horizon has passed but safety is top concern amongst BP leaders. They focus on Hayward’s speech at the BP Annual General Meeting of 2010 which was given five days before the Deepwater Horizon failure. The key issues was safety was only said twice in this speech but the claim was that safety was the number one priority.
