In 1987 People’s Income Tax was started. This was before Turbo Tax was around. At People’s Income Tax we decided to focus on more complex individual and small business tax returns as the National firms had not entered the market for this yet.
About a year after starting People’s Income Tax I decided to start an income tax school. Not only does the school provide a great source of revenue but the school gives seasonal tax professionals a way to have a job year around. It gives employees a chance to teach and while teaching learn new material.
